Indian brigade HQ destroyed

Sources further confirmed that Pakistan has destroyed the headquarters of India’s 12th Infantry Brigade, a key tactical formation of the Indian Army involved in forward operations near the LoC.

“Our forces are giving a befitting reply to the enemy’s naked aggression. Several enemy posts have also been neutralized along the LoC,” said ISPR DG Maj Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry in remarks to Reuters.

Moreover, the Pakistan Army also shot down an Indian drone that violated Pakistani airspace in the Barnala sector. The drone, believed to be on a reconnaissance mission, was intercepted and destroyed by Pakistani forces in what is being seen as a clear warning against further provocation.

Late on Tuesday night, the director general of the Inter-Services Public Relations confirmed that the Indian military launched missiles that struck three separate locations inside Pakistan. In response, security sources said, Pakistan retaliated and launched missiles against multiple targets in India.

Pakistan confirmed shooting down at least five Indian fighter jets, including Rafales. They also claim all of Pakistan’s jets are safe.

In Bahawalpur, a missile attack reportedly targeted a religious seminary, killing a child and injuring a man and a woman. So far, 29 injured individuals from the missile attacks were shifted to Bahawal Victoria Hospital. The MS claimed the injured include six women and four children.

The ISPR DG issued a stern warning to India following a reported missile attack on Pakistani territory, stating that “India’s temporary happiness will be turned into permanent sorrow.”
